We have two podcasts that are about an hour or less in length that need to be edited. Each episode needs to be spliced together to sound very high quality. The recordings that I provide you might be completely panned left and right. Please make sure that these edits be mono. I will likely send an mp4 that would require the audio to be extracted. I am willing to pay $30 per episode assuming the quality is 100 percent.

I am looking for someone with experience setting up and customizing server-side OCR engines. We have a database that includes references to 80k+ PDF documents, with another 1k or so being added each month. Those PDF documents are at every level of quality, from ugly scans to perfect Word-generated documents. I don't expect the bad ones will be index-able, but I do expect most of them should be. We are looking to create an automated, perpetual process that will index the entire backlog, then look for new files being added to the directory and index those as well. With that in place, my team will then build a search engine using Sphinx to interact with the indexed data. I am open to suggestions about the best way to do this. One idea is putting the data into a database table. Another idea is creating a text file from each PDF, then using Sphinx to index the text files. There are probably other ideas worth consideration. The process can be done in just about any platform/language. The documents will reside on a hard drive within a larger network environment in the Azure cloud. So, I am looking for proposals on the best way to do this kind of project for a reasonable cost. If you have some experience in things like this, I would like to consider your proposal.

Hello! I am looking for a freelancer who can design one (1) black and white movie ticket for an upcoming movie premiere (please find attached a design we really like). I currently have a website (www.hotdatajobs.com) that is being completely redeveloped. It is mainly a job board but in addition, there will be a blog (which will be found at www.blog.hotdatajobs.com), a discussion board/forum (which will be found at www.forum.hotdatajobs.com) and a Resume Distribution service (which will be found at www.resumedistribution.hotdatajobs.com) I already have a design prepared for the look/feel (basically it should match the color scheme/theme of the rest of the site)...you an see example at www.hotdatajobs.digitalya.ro AND www.blog.hotdatajobs.com Anyways, the purpose of this Resume Distribution is to allow candidates/job seekers to pay a certain amount to have their resume distributed to all recruiters/employers who have opted in to receive resumes. You can understand more by visiting something similar (www.myresumeagent.com) So, basically, there are 2 sides. 1. The employers/recruiters side...whereby they can enter their info (Name, email, other details) and register themselves to receive resumes (they should also have the ability to opt-out or remove themselves from the database) 2. The candidates side - they upload their resume, input their details (name, email, phone, etc.) and then pay for this (i'm using Stripe for my job board to process Credit Cards so i would want to stick to them as the credit card processing company)...once they do this, their information gets automatically sent to all the recruiters who opted in to receive resumes

I have a spreadsheet that is in an Excel format that I need to parse and place in a MySql database and export to Excel using a web interface. I would like to give you access to my database hosting and web hosting at GoDaddy with MySQL database so you can develop directly to it, if that's okay. If not, it's not a big deal. There are two Excel Spreadsheets (attached) one of them is the before the other is the after. The one to convert is "PIES DHR File to Convert to Excel". The one that is after is called "PIES DHR Converted to Excel" It's a simple process, Step 1) rename Column A to whatever the "User" enters during the conversion process. Step 2) Insert a header exactly like the one in the After Spreadsheet. Step 3) Move the values from Column "I" to their perspective columns based on the key character in column G. I can give more details once you get hired. I am also a programmer, but I don't have time to do development and I haven't in a very long time. But I do know my way around code and MySQL. So I will be great to work for, because I understand the limitations of programming. Tony
