I run a training company called academy class We want to start our own online learning library – a bit like, Udemy, Coursera etc Initially the classes will reflect our training courses so check out whats covered here we’re looking at lots of little videos that match the course outline English doesn’t need to be perfect as the plan is to have a voice over presenter do the actual presenting bt we’ll still need to transcribe what you’re saying Make sense?? The quality needs to be high as you would expect so here is what Udemy usually request which matches what we need Have you delivered any training before? Is our requirement something that fits in with the proposed budget? Best practices • Lecture Length: We recommend that lectures are between 5-7 minutes • Video Settings: HD video (720p minimum) with clear lighting, composition, and a steady camera exported in 16:9 format. These settings will ensure that your lectures are mobile optimized for mobile devices. • Lighting: Bright and balanced, with minimal shadows. • Framing: Use a clean, uniform, and non distracting backdrop. The background should contrast with the subject so that the speaker stands out. • File size: No larger than 1.0 GB. Compatible file types include mp4, .mov, and .wmv • Mobile Friendly: Featured text is large enough to read on a smaller screen. • Engagement: Use direct eye contact. Record as though you were speaking with close friends • Before you record all of your lectures, submit a test video and have a academy class team member review your video (and audio) recording settings to ensure you are set up for success in the Quality Review Process Minimum requirements to pass our Quality Review Process • Videos must be shot in HD (720p minimum) with clear lighting, framing, and steady camera. • Videos must also include high-quality audio. To learn more about our audio quality criteria, click here. • Lectures must be between 2 and 20 minutes long. • Exported slide presentations with audio narration will not be approved unless they meet the following requirements: • Videos cannot be composed of a single static slide with audio narration. • All slides must be relevant to the narration and not simply subtitles for the audio. Recommended equipment and software There are so many ways to create content for your online course and so many tools to help you shoot and edit video, we know it can get overwhelming. For many years we have used an excel sheet to quickly estimate prices on out steel buildings. And If the customer is satisfied with the price we project the building in Autocad/Inventor. We now want to make an online program where customers themselves can plot in the data they have for their building, and they get a price right away. We are getting many b2b customers, that use our current prototype to estimate prices of out buildings. So we have thought about using Autodesk inventor, and getting this on our website. After the customer have the price and have configured the building the way he want, he send the whole project to us, and we get the drawings ready for us to use in Inventor or Autocad. The configurator should be able to: -Calculate price on the building. - There shall be possible to add accesories to the building, doors, windows, gates etc. Drag and drop placement of windows, doors and gates - Graphical animate the building based on the user input - The user shall be able to create an account, and there the user can see the projects he has calculated earlier. - User shall be able to save their project/building. So that they later can login and modify this project. We want to be able to change prices in the backend. - The program shall be able to produce dfx files of the building. - Administrator shall be able to open a project that is made by the user and modify it. - User shall be able to print the project, with drawings and prices. - Program shall animate the building based on the input of the user. 2d is most important, but 3d would also be nice. We have made 2 prototypes of the program. The program is made with unity. So this program is lacking the engineering professionality we want. Here is a link to the prototype: What is missing in the programs is: - more detailed graphics - Backend - DFX files - There has been made to many compromises in this program. See the prototype here: For other inspiration we have looked at : This one is very advanced. It is not necessary for us to have it this advanced. It is hard to set a budget on a job like this. We do not have a fixed budget, and are open to all solutions.
