Wordpress educational website that uses the LearnDash LMS. The students interact via BuddyPress. The site needs to sell access to the site and courses. It will consist of a first payment of $XXXX and then a monthly payment of YYY. Each of these requirements seem easy enough on their own. However, all together, it gets a little tricky because most management plugins take over the WP registration system... but so does Buddypress. Project: - Setup the management system. (S2 Member and Paid Membership Pro plugins are already installed.) - Setup the plugin to accept members - Setup one membership level (one time fee with monthly reoccurring) - Test the payment system via sandbox. - Ensure the membership plugin, buddypress and Learndash work together. For example, that only paid members can make posts, read pages or access the LD course.

Hi ! I need two plugins for my website, perfectly integrated with BuddyPress (note: they plugins shouldn't be specific to my theme since I could change it soon): - Favorites Plugin: BuddyPress members can like/add to favorites a post in the activity feed, but also on a post (Sidebar would be the best). As soon as the post is favorited, a new actuality on the feed appears "User A added this post to its favorites". Also, the favorites count has to increase instantly like on Facebook (in the actuality feed and on the post) and when clicking on the count, we can see who favorited it like "users A, B ,C and 5 more favorited this post" and it is possible to click on it to see who favorited it. Finally, I can go on my profile to see the post I favorited, and if I go to another profile, I can see what this user favorited. - Follow Plugin: replace the Add friend BuddyPress button by a follow button like on twitter. A user can follow someone on a post (follow the author) and on a profile....

I'm using BuddyPress to set up a social network for my church. The church has objections to using "Friends" and would like to replace instances of Friends with People and Friend with Person, etc. I have done many WordPress sites before, but this is my first BuddyPress site. I cannot find a way to do this. I would like someone to show/tell/teach me how to do this. Although not preferred, I will accept proposals to do make the change for me. I prefer someone experienced with BuddyPress, not just Wordpress.
