looking for a practicing attorney who can conduct comprehensive legal research and draft a memorandum with the references to the supporting statutes on the following matter: There are two owners in the 3-store commercial building (owner A & owner B). The elevators belong to owner A, who occupies the 1st to the 3rd floor in the building. This owner A bought the elevators with other property during the privatization in 1993. Owner B has some premises on the 3rd floor only, which it also bought during the privatization in 1993. Presently owner B claims that the elevators should be common property as the stairs are. The issue is whether the elevators must be common property in a COMMERCIAL, not residential, BUILDING, provided that they were bought by owner A as a part of real estate & equipment. If the answer is yes, does owner B have to compensate owner A for anything (for example, purchase price in today's money, not 1993, maintenance cost for all these years, etc.).

I'm looking speak to a consultant who has in-depth knowledge about structuring corporate entities in the United States. I have a video production company (Operating Company), and a 2nd company to hold assists such as intellectual property and video equipment (Holding company). My operating company performs video services, and my operating company holds leases/rents equipment to the operating company. Each have separate bank accounts, separate books, and both file their own corporate state taxes. Since they are both single member LLC's, and both under my name, I am looking for ways to legitimize and strengthen the corporate veil. What are best practices for this? Although I do not have them yet, I know I will need rental agreements between them. But it feels problematic to sign both ends of the deal with my own name as "manager". I'm looking for someone with the right experience/background to help me ensure that these companies are set up and running as two completely separate entities. Looking for a half hour session, to see if the advice is helpful, and look forward to a long relationship of consultant/client meetings. Thanks for your time. Best, Graham www.CollectiveCP.com
