I have roughly 490 .txt files, each containing a contact and the contacts emails and notes exported from a CRM program. I need these .txt files imported into an excel spreadsheet, where the columns indicate the category (ID, name, email, subject, body, notes, etc.) and the individual contacts data displayed in the corresponding rows. Each text file does not contain the same data (categories), some files have only "ID" and "Email", others only "ID and Notes", others "ID, Email, and Subject" and many various combinations of the categories. The CRM program the files were exported from only exported filled in fields for each contact, so if one contact did not have any "emails" that field (category) is not included in the .txt file. This excel spreadsheet is going to be uploaded to another CRM program (can provide name) which requires the data to be arranged in spreadsheet format where columns indicate category and rows are the contact's corresponding data. If no category is present in a contact's .txt file the category is still to be entered on the spreadsheet indicating "n/a". Can provide more info as needed. I'm attaching an example of the .txt files I'm working with.

Please consider this an RFP for a long term relationship for the conversion of hard copy books to be converted to ePub and sold on the various online bookstores. There are over 10,000 titles to be converted. You should expect workloads of about 25 titles per month until we are satisfied and can move at a faster rate. The process will be that hardcopy books will be scanned in our US office. The resulting images will be OCR-ed using our software or your own. Your staff will perform the verification of the OCR results and any formatting required for ePub creation. This also includes capturing of metadata to be used for each retailers search functionality. It is likely that many titles will also require some level of graphic design work to enhance (or totally redesign) the front and back covers. The finished ePub titles will then need to be submitted to the online retailers. We are intending to do this process in our US office, but are willing to discuss outsourcing this work as well. Things required in your response: Pricing Model Conversion: We expect to receive pricing per keystroke or per page. Per title does not seem fair as the number of pages per title will vary. Pricing per hour is not of interest because we will have no manner to monitor and correct for ineffective operators. Pricing per keystroke is our preference because it is the most exact. However, we understand you may not have a system capable of logging keystrokes. Therefore, pricing per page would be acceptable as it is a blend of your expectation of average keystrokes per page. If you have another pricing method, we are open to your ideas. However, we wanted to provide all with our preferences. Pricing Model Design: What is your rate for design services such as updating or correcting scans of cover art? A per hour rate for this type of work is acceptable (billed in quarter-hour intervals). Operational Model Conversion: Tell us about your operations. What are you current processes? Do you have written SOPs available for review? What software package are you using for OCR? How are batches tracked? How is accuracy ensured? Will we use your software for scanning or will we use our own? How are your operators trained? How are your operators monitored for quality? Are you prepared to perform an online demonstration of your process? Distribution Operational Model: If you are interested in this part of the project, tell us about your process? I need someone to take a scanned 105 page PDF document and convert it to word and excel documents. This document will need to include all typed information (the freelancer can ignore handwritten notes. I will place comments within the document indicating if I need it as an excel document or if it will be in word (with table usage). Also all logos can be ignored. I would also like for margins to be the same and I need to be able to edit. I need this document by the June 22. If interested we can negotiate a fixed price.
