We have a board that needs to scaled down to the smallest possible size. Due to design considerations (see below), I believe the best way to do this will be to create two separate boards, stacked on top of each other.
I will provide an Altium file and schematic. You can use your choice of software to produce the final board file.
J2 will be completely removed.
J1, J3 and J4 will now use soldered wire leads. They should be changed to 0.035" holes, 0.080" distance center-to-center.
SW1 and SW2 will be completely removed.
All four mounting holes will be removed.
All remaining components will need to re-routed to achieve smallest possible board footprint. Maximum board dimensions: 20 x 30mm. Ideal dimensions: 12mm x 20mm (each of two boards)
U2 is a Bluetooth MCU with a keep-out zone directly underneath it. Thus, we should probably consider stacking two one-sided boards with risers to minimize total size.
