I have mostly finished project of web based, price scanner, which visit shops once a week and scan for prices. It is backend with simple admin pages. It is implemented in groovy+grails+java. What is done: 1. DB model. 2. Service for regular scanning of pages. 3. Crawler. 4. Configuration. What is need: 1. Create some simple admin interface to check what is currently scanned by items with price grouping week by week. 2. Simple charts on price changing by item. 3. Deploy this project to openshift (I have no luck to deploy grails project on openshift). P.S. Please, no agency posting, I will reject it without any chance. Only developer with good code style.

We have a number of well-defined scraping tasks that need to be integrated into our main online lending system Step 1 (This job): The HTML sample to be scraped and stored to XML and/or RDMBS attached Step 2 (Future) https://help.xero.com/uk/Payments_YodleeFeeds This is one time test project but the chosen team / candidate should get a long term assignment to build something called Yodlee with thousands of hours of work as we need to integrate with multiple sources Please send examples of you past work and estimation how long would it take to convert the attached file to clean XML Our current architecture is in Grails but we would consider scrapers in other languages in addition to Groovy, such as Python (http://www.crummy.com/software/BeautifulSoup/), Ruby or PHP The users will be interviewed technically and the key criterion is development speed and quality
