For my client, a services firm, I have created an Events Module in Excel which is part of a bigger system. The Events module allows a user to create an event (workshop, training, conference) that staff attend and this can then be exported to the firm's custom Events calendar in Outlook. The custom Events calendar has been created on User 1's computer and then shared to User 2 with full editing rights. Both User 1 and User 2 can manually add, delete and edit events in User 1's shared Events calendar (tested). User 1 and 2 are both members of the firm's Microsoft Exchange. User 1 can use the Excel Events module I created to programmatically add and edit events in the shared Events Calendar however User 2 cannot. I have different VBA code for User 1 and 2 whereby the code for User 1 is for the shared calendar owner while the code for User 2 (or any other future user) is for a non-owner who has full editing rights.

There is a software application, an Outlook plug-in exe, we have bought that we need to install and configure on 300 desktops. We need a way to automate this install process, including the typing of a URL into a configuration page of the app during the install process. I can imagine various ways to do this, perhaps using auto-it, but I leave the method up to you. The goal is to have a file or files we can push to the client computers, and have it install and configure in an automatic process. Ideally there is no user intervention needed. The software is called Asure Resource Scheduling Outlook Client. It is too large to attach here, I will find another way to send it to you. The correct url to be typed in is: We hope to use System Center or Group Policy (or some other method you devise) to push this software and your method of inserting the url into it's configuration to our desktops, and have it self-install. Thank you for reading this and I look forward to your help. Scott

I require someone to work with my development team who can build an Outlook Add-In for my platform ResponseiQ. ResponseiQ has received funding and I am expanding my product features dramatically, I am very keen to have this functionality as soon as possible. I want my users to be able to see when their leads are opening their emails, and possible clicking links also. In ResponseiQ we have a database of leads (they're extracted from emails) and we track all call and text message activit. I would also like the Add-In to work with my platform and update our database when users send a email to a lead (identified by To: email) and also update the activity whenever the lead opens and/or clicks the email. This will allow my users to be able to call leads when they are looking at their emails to achieve optimum connection rates. We will use ResponseiQ notifications to notify the users of open/click events. Or possible outlook notification pop ups, naturally I want to hear your thoughts. 90+% of my users will be using Desktop Outlook not 365, so priority is to build an Add In for outlook desktop users first. If you are knowledgeable in how I could in the future have a 2 way sync with my platform and Outlook then I am interested in hearing about this also. But for now, just the ability for the Add-In to find and record activity using the To: email is sufficient. You will work under the direction of myself and my head of product development team, my product dev team is based in India, I am based in the UK. Please show me examples and proof of your capabilities. You location/nationality is not important, I love working with people from around the world provided you can prove your abilities I am happy to pay for a good final product. There is a strong potential of future work. I met my head of product dev via upwork and now I employ him and 3 others full-time. I look forward to hearing your thoughts.
