I want to do 2 main things. When someone opts into my newsletter, they will simultaneously receive a series of 7 to 10 emails, scheduled to be released at specified days and times.
Unlike a newsletter, this series of 7 to 10 emails will be scheduled to be sent based on when the person signs up. In contrast, with the newsletter everyone will be on the same schedule. For example, everyone receives it at 10 pm PST every Sunday. I want to schedule the first year so 52 weekly mail chimp newsletters. I may not have all the content ready but if you can at least set them up so I can edit the ones that are not ready that will be fine and I will edit the content.
I also need to add my current list of contacts to these email campaigns. This must all be done through one sign up form.
The first part is just to set up a mail chimp newsletter campaign, 1 per week for a year. The other part is that when someone signs up, I want to begin a separate campaign where they get the same series of emails which begins when they sign up. It is more of an orientation to my company which I cannot do with a newsletter since with the newsletter everyone gets the same email at the same time and are on the same schedule. With the series of emails, they get that series when they sign up. For example, I might let them know about our facebook, our blog, offer them a discount on their first order, let them know how the process works, etc. Each person needs that info so if I just added it into the newsletter, new people would not get the info because they all sign up at different times.
Ideally, the newsletter campaign will not begin until the series of orientation emails are sent out. Otherwise they would be getting too many emails.
