At Catalyx, we organise online communities with hundreds of participants to solve business issues (marketing and advertising topics mostly).
We are looking for a person who is fluent in English and Arabic for a part time community manager role.
Although it is a part time role, we will need the person to be available over the course of 4 to 5 weeks (starting date in the next 2 weeks).
The community will be active for 8 days, hence the community manager will need to help setting up the project (10 days/2 weeks), manage the community while it is live (8 days) and prepare the analysis (1 week to 10 days).
What is required from the CM:
- to translate all activities and templates from English to Arabic and as well to translate meaningful participant quotes (to support/illustrate learnings) from Arabic to English
- to moderate activities and discussions online and making sure the community remains active and healthy all along. A training is provided as well as support all along the project.
- to analyse the feedback of the crowd in order to provide meaningful and relevant solutions to the client. The community manager is the voice, the ears and the brain of Catalyx strategy director into the community. His role is to ensure that the activities the Catalyx team has designed are properly completed by participants, analyse the outputs and turning them into structured, insightful and clear reports (based on a given template).
In terms of deliverables, there should be on-going connects with the Catalyx strategy team (skype calls), one interim report and one final reports.
Everything is online and can be done with another activity like freelance or student; the person must log in at least once a day.
Ideally, the CM has either marketing, advertising or research experience.
