I am looking for a Quantity Surveyor or someone with sufficient experience in landscaping / construction to prepare area and linear meter measurements from the provided landscape drawings. This job is for the: Calamvale Townhouse (I008) This project should be completed by 5pm Wednesday 10/8/16 Australian Eastern Standard time. In your proposal please ensure you have reviewed the scope and confirm your price to complete the project (including revision of your submission as required after my review). Mark up’s should be partially opaque so the drawing behind can be identified as well. Typically at least two sets of marked up drawings, one for area measurements and one for linear meter measurements. Mark up’s should be returned in PDF’s, but if the measure are done in CAD then returned in an agreed native format. If there is demolition scope nominated and it appears to primarily relate to landscape area’s this should be documented as an area measurement, with specific notes added to the measurement template to summarize the scope. Scales should be checked on the drawings (usually against a car park with is around 5m). This should be marked on the drawings. Checking is only required on drawings where measurements are taken and where they change (i.e. if there are 3 sheets with the same nominated scale, only check the one sheet). Tree’s and Plants: Tree removals (if noted) are out of the scope (do not need to be measured). Plants shall be noted on the “Plants Tab”. Quantity, Size and Code must be correctly noted. This information should just come from the “Planting Schedule” one of the drawings. Where OCR or other automated processes are used botanical names and common names are good to have but not necessary. Where the planting schedule has sections / headings (such as “Tree’s”, “Groundcovers” and “Shrubs”) these should just be added as a note.
