Looking for an experienced PostgreSQL DBA for the ongoing project. To resolve the issue in the production environment. In our production database server, some point of time more number of exclusive locks and more number of idle connections are happening. Due to this the database server is not responding well for that point of time. This scenario exists for 5 to 10 mins of time there after the issue is getting resolved automatically. The same point of time the max connections that are assigned in the application server connection pool have been utilized.

Looking for experience software developer in the area of voice and streaming media to detect live-human voice (out of recordings and music). As part of a startup, we need to develop a feature to detect a live-person (customer service agent) on the other side of a phone call. We need a software that detects a live person and distinguishes it from recording messages or music on the phone line. All we need is to identify “When” a live-person is on the line. We prefer to adopt/embrace existing software packages and make customization and not to develop all from scratch. Our cloud system is based on AWS and Linux environment, PHP and AGI. We prefer development in PHP but other scripting or code languages are ok. Larger packages that may be potential to start working with are Asterisk, FreePBX or FreeSwtich. Any other free software platforms are fine. It is possible to use some transcribing services as a feature to detect a live-person. Potential candidates can be CMU Sphinx, Dragon Nuance, Google Speech API, or IBM Watson Speech-to-Text. Other packages are welcome. We need to hire several contractors, and this small task can be a good tool to identify good candidates.

We are looking for someone to compile FreeRDP for our Linux OS. We require a custom piece for this application that will use an API to fill in the server, gateway and remote apps. Here is an overview of how we are wanting the FreeRDP application to work. When opening the FreeRDP application, only prompt for username. Overview: I'd like for the user to enter their username and the API will determine the user's server and gateway. Once this is determined, user will enter their password and then have a popup appear that would use the webfeed to show what remote apps are available to the user (if any) and the Remote Desktop option for full desktop. If the user has no remote apps, default to full remote desktop. During the API call to gather the user server and gateway, we would need to determine the {remote app endpoint} and the {client code} with the API. • API: Will provide the API to the awarded freelancer. It's only 1 API call. o API will pass the username and determine the user’s server and gateway and prompt for password.  If configured for remote apps (determined by the API call), determine remote app endpoint and client code and use webfeed to pull back the apps available with icons. • https://{remote app endpoint}/{client code}/RDWeb/Feed/webfeed.aspx  If no remote apps are configured for the user, launch full Remote Desktop connection. • RemoteAPP FreeRDP: o If the API does in fact have remote apps configured for the user, when the icons pull back with the options to select the app, the /app should be used to launch each one when clicked. For example, if one of the remote apps is calc, then when clicked, launch with /app:"||calc" If you know FreeRDP and know how to make a single SOAP API call, this should be easy and a quick task. We are looking to have this completed ASAP, so please only bid if you know FreeRDP and know how to make a SOAP API call.

Our software is currently built in Ubuntu, and we need to offer a version for our clients who run RedHat or CentOS. We use the Agile/SCRUM method of development, so we have a new release every two weeks. The bamboo build plan will need to be automated to accommodate this. LogZilla Corporation is a software company providing centralized syslog and SNMP trap storage, search and analytics. We released a new product last November and currently only offer our software in Ubuntu Server x64 We are looking for a professional who can build RPM packages for us. Our software is written in C++ and Python, so you will need to be proficient in those two languages as well. The freelancer will also need to create a Bamboo (CI Server from Atlassian) plan which will Build, Test and Deploy to virtual machines (KVM server, running Proxmox VE) so that we can check each package every time they are built. After successful build of all packages, bamboo should upload to our repository for users to download. The individual selected will be required to provide a valid Passport ID (or Driver's license if in the US) and sign a Non-disclosure statement and code-contribution agreement.
