We need an experienced developer to configure a Linux server running on Apache/Ubuntu to set up Github and other version control tools so that we can use it as a bullet proof Deployment system for our apps that follows these "canaray" style requirements: - Upgrades to a new version must occur with no downtime - It must be possible to run both the old version and the new version of the software in parallel - It must be possible to run tests against the new version in the production environment - It must be possible to switch specific users to see each version - Each user’s experience must remain consistent throughout the upgrade - It must be possible to roll back the upgrade easily when required.

Looking for somebody who is comfortable with ROS to help me build a control package for my robot. In the future, the robot will need Ackermann steering, but for this job, differential / skid steering will be fine. The new control package will need to be built in ROS Jade. As such, you will likely need to be able to simulate in Gazebo 5.0 . The new control package will also need a working teleop-keyboard script and launch files. I have a robot-description (URDF / Xacro) package, which is ready to work with. This maybe be modified to work with the control code. Well-annotated code will receive a small bonus. Project success is measured by the ability to implement and use the package. Please bear this in mind. The reason I am posting this job is to save time and effort in training myself. As you may know, the ROS wiki is a very tedious way to learn. A good working relationship may lead to offers for more interesting work in the future.

We are looking for someone to compile FreeRDP for our Linux OS. We require a custom piece for this application that will use an API to fill in the server, gateway and remote apps. Here is an overview of how we are wanting the FreeRDP application to work. When opening the FreeRDP application, only prompt for username. Overview: I'd like for the user to enter their username and the API will determine the user's server and gateway. Once this is determined, user will enter their password and then have a popup appear that would use the webfeed to show what remote apps are available to the user (if any) and the Remote Desktop option for full desktop. If the user has no remote apps, default to full remote desktop. During the API call to gather the user server and gateway, we would need to determine the {remote app endpoint} and the {client code} with the API. • API: Will provide the API to the awarded freelancer. It's only 1 API call. o API will pass the username and determine the user’s server and gateway and prompt for password.  If configured for remote apps (determined by the API call), determine remote app endpoint and client code and use webfeed to pull back the apps available with icons. • https://{remote app endpoint}/{client code}/RDWeb/Feed/webfeed.aspx  If no remote apps are configured for the user, launch full Remote Desktop connection. • RemoteAPP FreeRDP: o If the API does in fact have remote apps configured for the user, when the icons pull back with the options to select the app, the /app should be used to launch each one when clicked. For example, if one of the remote apps is calc, then when clicked, launch with /app:"||calc" If you know FreeRDP and know how to make a single SOAP API call, this should be easy and a quick task. We are looking to have this completed ASAP, so please only bid if you know FreeRDP and know how to make a SOAP API call.
