Hi there so what lm after is a excel guru: My spreadsheet l have created currently is data from me and my warehouse. What l am doing is cross referencing between the two to make sure each product matches in qty and then in plt id level. From there l investigate what our errors are. In the spreadsheet l also cross reference between each site to see every plt id of both sites to problem solve any issue. Thats a bit about my work and here is what l need more off to help save time and more cross checks done either by conditional format or true or false statements. First off l have a spreadsheet l have created where there is 5 tabs each one contains different data. First tab is a reference where l do a stock variance check between the two sites this returns my variances. second tab is a pivot table of warehouse A third tab is warehouse B fourth tab is data from Warehouse A fifth tab is from warehouse B Now the fourth and fifth tabs are most important as these are the ones that contain all the revelant information. I have already got a vlookup function running in both warehouse a and b. So this is what l am after if possible? Can a macro be done to run the vlookup function? Also in that macro can l have a true or false statement in there as well? from this statement l want to know if the same plt id shows up as another sku but for the same plt id? Also can it do a conditional format? Here what l want is like above but now highlighted so it stands out Currently there is a possiblilty of the same plt id showing up twice and l need to see both qtys for the same plt id which l havent been able to get right in my vlookup function. Is this achievable? Is a macro best for what l want or need to do or is best to lock down all the functions? Open to other opinions. In the true and false statement l need to cross reference against the plt id and qty and item (otherwise known as product or sku). need to make sure they match and if they dont then it is highlighted. Based on this information we would like to plot a graph that shows when you drive more kilometers with a car the price per kilometer decreases. The website has four steps: 1) Choose your car: Choose your brand, model, year, month, type of fuel, amount of doors, and gear; 2) Choose the version of the car: Based on step 1 different versions can be chosen. For example a Volkswagen Golf 1.4 TSI or 1.6 TSI, a comfortline or highline. Based on this information the price of the car is determined. 3) Choose the extra options in your car: For example an alarm or xenon lights. Every option has a price and this adds up on the price of the car, which is determined in step 2. 4) The following needs to be filled in in the last step: - When did you purchase the car? (month/year) - What was the price of the car? (in euro's) - What is the mileage of the car - How long do you expect to have the car? (in Years) - How many kilometers do you expect to drive in a year? - In which province in the Netherlands do you live? (every province has a different tax for cars) Based on this information an overview is created about the price of the car monthly and per kilometer. What do we want? I need a script that lets me export the contents of a column (single cell) from every row to an txt file with the name of another column's value. For example: A1 value is "Beach Resort" and has a description (C1) of "A nice place to stay" without quotes. I need the script to create a txt file called Beach Resort (A1) and txt file contents are A nice place to stay . Contents should be exactly what the cell contains with no quotes. In addition to that script I need an another script made that does the reverse. Finds a txt file in a specified directory with value of A1 then replaces the text in C1 with the contents of the txt file. Both scripts should loop and perform the action for each row. I am working with a lot of data so if a field (A1 or C1) is blank or if the txt file doesn't exist I need it to have an break in the loop. The two columns and txt file directory can be hard coded to simplify the macro creation. I will provide a excel file to test your script.
