We need a number of softwares for a new website, and require someone to do the research discuss the options, talk to the support for the companies, check the prices and basically support us to choosing the options.
We are looking for the simplest ways to do the things we need to do with a service that has good customer support, affordable pricing, good reviews, is established and is easy to use so we can implement them right away. You'll need to look for several providers with creative googling and checking out articles which may have recommendations for different services so that you are really finding the pulse of what others are using and enjoying - which we could too.
Essentially you need to be great with communicating in writing also via email/chat/support tickets with the companies so you can articulate our needs and questions and get back the answers.
You may also need to sign up for a few of the free accounts to see how user friendly it is or be able to properly test the features we need.
You will communicate with us throughout the process so we can consider the companies you assessed/found, and give feedback on why you chose them allowing us to have a look and give you any additional queries to get answered from them.
You will also look for customer feedback on review websites, check the online reputation by checking their facebook/twitter interactions with customers. To ensure the company isn't a 'fly by night' operation you will also check a little on their background and any materials that point to them being a professional and attentive company who cares about customer support.
This is a good job for someone who has some time in the next 2-5 days and can start immediately. You have to have good research skills and experience finding tools to use for businesses (even your own). To show me you actually read this application thoroughly and have good attention to detail please tell me what is the colour of the ocean first in your covering letter. You'd be surprised how many people don't read fully, and this shows us that they wouldn't be great on this job which requires attention to detail.
You will keep a spreadsheet that you create and communicate benefits to me in a way that doesn't require me to sit and figure out the information for myself. I want to be able to have summaries whilst you do the background work.
