I need an expert in Azure App Service to help me create screen captures of our Azure account that show the following
1. A sync between the Azure NTP host and NIST (one of the time servers listed here: http://tf.nist.gov/tf-cgi/servers.cgi).
2. A screen capture to show your Azure system is synced to the Azure NTP host with the same requirements.
3. A screen capture to the system time is within 5 seconds (or offset of +/-5000 ms) of the time as shown on time.gov. L
I have been told that steps 1 or 2 may be able to be accomplished with the command line prompt or powershell output to show the time and the offset as well as the server address that it is set to sync with, but I am not experienced enough in Azure to be sure.
The work can be done via a webex where the subject matter expert walks me through the process for demonstrating steps 1,2, and 3 in my Azure account. This project does not require the expert to provide documentation. I just need someone to walk me through the process.
Please send me any questions you have. Please include any background or previous projects in Azure App Services in your bid that you feel qualifies you for this project.
To add another way of describing this, our goal is to get a government certification that requires us to show that our audit log is synced with NIST time http://www.time.gov/ . The directions above came from the board the is going to certify us. For this certification, we need some way to show, either through a command line or some other option, that azure is synced with NIST. We are open to other ideas or approaches to solving showing this sync.
