The goal is to use Cerberus kit for this project, with the following modules:
What you need to build is very simple:
There is a water pump 12V .(500mA-1A rating).
There are 2 solenoid (A & B) based valve (12V 100-200mA rating) to open/close solenoid.
Close Solenoid A for X minutes, as soon as you close, activate water pump for X minutes.
Open Solenoid A for Y minutes. Y = X + C1 (design time constant)
Close Solenoid B for M minutes as soon as you close, activate water pump for M minutes.
Open Solenoid B for N minutes. N = M + C2 (design time constant)
X & M are adjustable via potentio meters - 5 minutes to 15 minutes (0-100%) - option to only have 1 potentio meter then X=M.
Condition: zero upfront. The last time I paid somebody deposit, never heard from them since. My zero upfront project has been very good.
Delivery in C#.net in VS Project File - will run under VS2010 Express C#.
Please note this project is just a small step of much bigger project. Future stages will involve solar cells, wifi, and various sensors.
