I have 2 log files (saved as txt), containing GPS data. in these file you may find logs from 21.8.2012 at 18:00 (file 1) until the 23.8.2012 at 18:00 (file 2). Each file is 0.5GB when unzipped.
I am interested only at the logs of the 22 of August.
the file is designed like this:
lines over lines of data, containing fields such as date, time, IMEI No (long number) coordinates, etc.
I want to have eventually Excel sheets, with line for each entry. I want no gaps between lines nor blanks. the date field will be divided to 3: day, month, year. So does time: Hour, minute, second. Also weekday will be added. from the Coordinates fields the "E" and the "N" will be taken off.
It is VERY important that this files you create will fit Excel 2007 sheets, i.e no more than 1,048,576 lines per sheet. In general, when you dividing the big text into sheets, end each sheet with round hour, and keep all the sheets in about the same size. Indicate for each sheet the hours it contains in its name (i.e. "GPS logs 12:00-18:00")
For those of you who are interested, I created a Dropbox folder with this files zipped. send me an email and I'll share it with you.
paying will be given at the end of the project, according to the satisfaction of work.
