We have a new website that matches independent sales representatives (ISRs) with companies that contract out their sales function to ISRs. (Many companies hire direct employees to do their sales; paying a salary AND a commission). We work with sales professionals who are NOT direct employees, but outside services, paid strictly when they make a sales.
Product or service lines for independent sales representatives are often listed on common job boards like Monster.com or Indeed.com...but those boards aren't really made to handle the same types of questions and matching criteria that are needed for ISRs and hiring companies.
And that is why we made our website; to meet the needs of ISRs and the companies that contract with ISRs.
We are brand new. We are just finishing with our development team in fixing the last of the site bugs before roll-out of our new service.
What we need from you is your expertise in doing the research on the web to find companies that outsource their sales positions. We will need to know the company, the contact email, the phone number, and the industry. You will use your research skills to find these opportunities. You can use: linkedIn.com, regular job boards, craisglist.org, and creative searches online. If you work with us, we will give you examples of the right kind of contact and examples of the wrong ones. Your job will be to find as many prospective hiring companies as possible. You will list all of your findings on a Google Docs spreadsheet. If you're accepted, we'll start with a 5 hour commitment to see how you do. If you like the work and if you're good at it, it can be up to 20-30 hours per week for the next few weeks.
Requirements; must speak/read English fluently. Must have access to do internet research. Must be fast reader/fast researcher/fast typist. Must be available to start immediately.
Note: there is NO phone work with this assignment, and our compensation is lower because of this. This is straight internet research. If you want to do the phone and email follow up, look for our next job listing...we're looking for that too...but this one is just for research for the next few weeks. Sound interesting? If so, please respond with a short description of your online research skills. Also, to show us that you actually read to the end of this posting, please also tell us in the first line of your response, what that weather is like in your hometown today. (Forgive us for that...it helps us realize who cared enough to read our whole post, and that helps us make good decisions). Thanks for your time and consideration. We look forward to hearing from you.
