Looking for PMP or PMI certified project manager to help develop project management best practices for a small but rapidly growing marketing firm.
We have a number of active projects which need better processes for tracking as well as more upcoming projects that will require proper structure. In short, it's a mess and we need your help to fix it.
Project Manager Requirements:
-4.5 or higher oDesk rating with visible project history
-Experience with marketing projects
-Familiarity with online project management tools like Basecamp
-Strong English skills - North American workers preferred
Job will entail helping sketch out projects, coordinate with vendors, contractors and internal resources over the phone. Contacting client, if needed, with project updates. Coordinating with agency owner weekly for status reports, generating time utilization reports and adjusting project plans on the fly.
Most importantly, we need your help determining which cloud based tools we as a highly virtual marketing agency should use to better track our projects. Currently, we are examining ProWorkFlow, but may also be able to use a combination of Basecamp and on premise software like Omniplan.
Project would be ongoing, with hours increasing as we grow. We expect initial hours per week to be around 10-20. Again, this may grow as we land more projects.
