PLEASE Read the entire job posting description and follow the directions
completely. It is a waste of your time to just blast us with your information
without following the instructions...that is if you're truly interested in the job.
We are looking for a great press release writer who is reliable and responsive. We need someone for the long term, not just initial gig.
We are looking for someone to research and write 3 press releases per week (or various other content as needed) . Budgeted at approx $75 per month to start. Raise after 90 days if reliable, effective, etc.
Keep in mind you are bidding on a monthly basis, not a per press release or weekly basis.
This is not simply for back-linking purposes. We are looking for a creative person, someone who has the ability to create properly formatted, well-written, interesting and relevant content that journalists would find intriguing and could potentially use as a spark to create their own feature articles.
Please submit a press release sample you've written in the past, as well as a cover letter indicating your understanding of the requirements
and why you'd be a good fit for this gig. If you've had previous press releases published, please include the links to those as well.
We get so many good applicants that don't follow
instructions - so if you actually do, you will have significantly better chance
than someone who doesn't. I am spelling it out as plain as can be in writing, so if you are not going to follow these instructions, please don't bother to apply. It is disappointing, because in fact 60% or more of the applicants (some of them incredibly talented) do not follow instructions.
Thanks - we look forward to seeing your sample, cover letter and portfolio.
P.S. We have been scammed before with upfront payments, so unfortunately
we do not pay upfront before the job starts
