The work requested is a character model from the artwork provided that is 3D printable, as well as a stylized base that you will be given artistic license in the creation of within a few parameters that the figure will be set upon when it is printed.
The attached file is the image that is to be converted into a 3d printable figurine (We are aware support structures will be needed for this model, so that is not a concern). The bottom of the legs on the figuring will need to be flat for adhesion to the build plate on the 3d printer, though this could be extensions that fits into slots on the stylized base (in fact this might be preferable). If a slotting method is used, then the design must account for +/- 0.2mm tolerances.
The total height of the figurine cannot exceed 165mm, and should be no shorter than 150mm. The length and width of both the base and the figurine should not exceed 190mm. The preferred file format is .stl, though we can work with Autodesk 3D Studio Max and Google Sketchup files.
The base and the character model should be separate model files, and the base needs to have a flat bottom to rest on a surface and a method to hold the character model in place when they are made into physical objects. It is preferred that each model be less than 40,000 polys, though if in your judgement more is required for a decent model we are willing to accept up to 80,000 poly models. Please note that very small parts (less than 0.4mm) are unlikely to print.
Please provide some samples of character models you have previously done (or a link to them).
