The project is to edit short clips that I shot with a Kodak ZI10 videocamera (and some with my blackberry):
About 730 MP4 files, about 19GB overall
Many clips will be redundant as I tried to get some usable material under bad weather or light conditions.
The video doesn't have to be professional grade, but I need someone who has done that a couple of times and can select the usable material based on personal judgment.
The rough sequence of the trip is roughly as follows:
(some dates of clips are off due to the date/time settings of the kodak camera and blackberry were off (by less than a day though I believe)
Beijing, Shanghai, Seoul, Shanghai, Xi'An, Guilin, Tokyo, Shanghai, Singapore
The expected result of the project: two versions of a vacation video:
Video 1: a short 'Best Of' version of about 5-10 minutes: fast paced, short 2-5 second pieces, action, interesting sights, funny, spectacular, ...
Ideally sequenced by Location if obvious and theme (e.g. cycling)
Please suggest suitable non-copyrighted background music (should be exciting, action, fast,...)
Video 2: a longer video of usable material (anywhere between 15 and 40 minutes), grouped by date taken, longer sequences without being boring. Weed out many of the bad clips.
Need your judgment to weed out the bad material (redundant, quality or just not interesting)
Would like to add sub titles, caption after reviewing a first draft.
Opening screen: 'Uli in Asia 2012'
Feel free to add some additional public domain material such as an aerial of the cities visited.
Videos are intended for personal use only.
I prefer to pay a fixed amount for the result, not the time, looking for someone who is well versed in video editing.
I plan to upload the material to a cloud file sharing website. Suggest a better method if there is one.
Please suggest any ways to improve the output as I'm not experienced with the process.
I'd like to see a draft version before final rendering.
I need the videos by end of March 2013.
