I need to hire two encoders for a massive encoding exercise. I am running a recruitment drive and will hire the encoders based on the proficiency in the test.
This job description has excel attached which has the data that needs to encoded.
a) Column A is just the app name for which the encoding needs to be done.
b) Column B contains detailed description of various features / functionality that a software app offers. An encoder has to first read the description and parse out each features separately. List of the features should be captured in column C. Each of the features should be captured in a separate line.
c) For each features listed in column C, encoder has to identify whether this feature is dependent / connected to other apps or not. By dependent I mean is the feature leveraging functionality of other apps. Few of the examples to explain this are following:
Example 1: Feature: Share your new portrait on Facebook, Twitter, and the Walker photo gallery.
Dependency: Facebook, Twitter, Walker photo gallery
Example 2: Feature: Notability's auto-sync, your notes are always backed up in the cloud. Choose your favorite cloud service: Dropbox, Google Drive, Box or WebDAV.
Dependency: Dropbox, Google Dirve, Box, WebDAV
d) List of apps on which a feature is dependent / connected to should be comma separated and captured in column D
e) In addition to outside apps, for each feature encoder has to identify if it is leveraging following list of in-phone features. List of in-phone features are: maps, calls, text message, mail, pictures/ photos, camera, calendar, video, clock, address book.
Example: Feature: Look up addresses and phone numbers for thousands of businesses, then call or map them from your iPhone or iPad.
In-phone dependency: 'map'
