My father and I have recently gone into partnership. My father has an existing farming and small property development business. We are looking for someone reliable to manage the accounts, rentals, payrolls and taxes for this business and our own independent accounts. We are also starting a health development business and agricultural investment business, so as these begin to take form the job description could expand and become more diverse.
The contractor we seek would ideally work from home, on average 10 hours a week on an ongoing basis - as long as the relationship works for all parties. The job entails general bookkeeping; payroll; online accounting (Xero), individual and trust tax preparations and hopefully, as your relationship and familiarity with our business develops the role could entail more interesting work - potentially touching on involvement in legal contracts; financial management and/or account management.
