I am a Speaker, trainer, workshop facilitator in the personal/professional development field. I am called The Performance Breakthrough Doctor.
Your job: research the internet to look for leads. Identify comapnies, corporations, associations, Human resources directors, event planners, Training Directors or Coordinators who are looking to hire speakers. Also, you may find appropriate events, summits, tele-summits, conferences. It has to be a paid-speaker events, not a volunteer one (with two excptions which I will let you know upon hiring). You have to double check to make sure there is a fee involved, traveling expenses or if it is within my geographical area I am willing to give a few freebies.
I am looking for corporations, associations, government agencies and/or military who are looking for a great speaker: It could be keynote speaker, breakouts sessions speaker, luncheon speaker, dinner or breakfast speakers, etc. You get the picture. I can give short talks, long talks, a day workshop or multiple days.
The hiring person per company varies. It could be the HR Director, Training Director, Training Coordinator, Event Planner or coordinator, sometime a CEO, sometimes a department head. Each company functions uniquely.
I am willing to travel world wide. I am located in the US - for those who pay traveling expenses, occasionally I am willing to do a freebie. Depending on the cause, otherwise, I am willing to do free talks only locally.
If you are selected, I will send you 3 or 4 PDF Files which describe my services, my speaking topics and areas of services so you will have complete clarity of what to look for. I also have an extensive website with very good descriptions of what I do. Always feel free to ask questions.
Knowledge of personal development, personal performance industry will be critical if not helpful. If you have leads/contacts from industries who are looking for speakers like me, you are way ahead of the crowd. I wll pay you bonus for booked speaking.
If you are good and have more time available, I may also ask you to look for appropriate networking (physical) meetings in my geographical area so I can promote my work directly. Also, when I travel, you could look up opportunities to network in the location and the dates I will be traveling. For example, whenever I am in Washington D.C. besides giving a talk, there are always excellent networking meeting every day of the week to go to. This is a lower priority for me than the primary job of looking for direct leads.
