This tasks will stitch sequential overlapping images of streets or generally flat surfaces with high accuracy.

You will be provided very precise intrinsic camera calibration parameters. You will also be provided the opencv routines to get the initial camera pose positions.
The task will involve investigating iterative techniques to improve the accuracy of the camera pose position, but I am open to your better ideas.
To test out the stitching, both synthentic and real images will be provided with known results, so the high accuracy can be compared.
Some documentation and knowledge transfer to the client is a requirement.
