The Customer Service Chat Agent requires an individual with great interpersonal skills to help our customers with the purchase and download of applications, installation of firmware and software, and answering general questions about our product and services. Thorough product knowledge of Livescribe smartpens and all related accessories, applications and software is required. Product training is provided, however this position requires the applicant to already be familiar with electronic devices and software, and the support thereof.
Role and Responsibilities:
•Provide support to Livescribe customers, solving problems in a friendly and effective manner.
•Become an expert on Livescribe and a source of knowledge that our customers can rely on.
•Foster positive customer relationships and own their satisfaction.
•Successfully balance 2-4 concurrent live chats with customers, with 8-12 completed chats per hour.
•Identify new avenues to reach out to customers in order to provide the highest level of support.
• The hours of this position are 12pm - 7pm PST ( US California )
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
•1 year minimum of experience in a customer service-related position.
•Thorough knowledge and familiarity with PC and Mac computers and Operating Systems, and associated browsers, firewalls and antivirus applications
•Strong communication, typing, grammar and writing skills are required for this role -- typing speed at a minimum of 60 WPM or higher required.
•Experience working with electronic devices and software is highly desired.
•A degree or relevant experience in writing, communications, journalism or English is a huge plus.
•Genuine care for others and passion for making their lives better.
•Very strong attention to detail; ability to multi-task and resolve issues without sacrificing quality.
•Writing samples, grammar test and a typing test will be requested.
