DEADLINE: WEDNESDAY 11th, MIDDAY, UK TIME
We have a fully working FB app up and running:
It does the following:
1/ you need to click the like button to enter the competition
2/ You can then enter the competition and upload your pictures
Pictures uploaded can be viewed by clicking "view all entries"
All is working.
In Short, what needs doing is: Currently people can enter the competition and upload pictures but there is no way for the competition organiser to moderate the pictures uploaded. We need to create the function by which a picture is not published on the front end of the app ("view entries" unless it has been approved by the competition organiser.
A very basic CMS allowing you to do the following:
1/ Login (admin login only)
2/ Every time a picture is uploaded:
it gets given a unique name and is stored in the database as a link to the picture along with the user FB name and email address
New pictures added to the database have an "unprocessed" status. ~
So, the database table has 5 fields: ID, FB_name, email, picture_linkj, status
Admin can login and change the status of the picture from "unprocessed" to "approved" or "rejected"
Admin can select: "view latest unprocessed entries", "view approved entries", "View rejected entries". ordered from most recent to oldest.
Amend the "view entries" display page to only show pictures that have been approved.
We already have some PHP code in place in the app that sends an email to the competition organiser with the FB name, email and link of the picture and emails all this info for each entry.
You can just use this to dump into database.
FTP, phpMyadmin and database all setup and ready to be used.
Deadline is critical, testing must be ready before deadline time so we can make any amends if needed.
Thank you and I look forward to your reply.
