Our large copywriting agency is on the search for a creative and gifted telemarketer, sales leader, and friendly sales rep who are experts at calling, and preferably also share a love for the written word/some knowledge of copywriting, to offer an opportunity for revenue and to share our company growth!
Our preferred hire will have these strong attributes:
-STRONG communication to let our other team staff know what is going on with what client, etc.
-INVESTED in the job and its success, strong TEAM MEMBER skills - can work in team. For example, will ask and prompt other staff when clients aren't replying, will be involved in figuring things out, etc. Will communicate with our staff instead of waiting to be communicated to.
-DETAIL ORIENTED. Don't tell our content coordinator the client ordered a blog when he ordered a web page. Be very detail oriented and should care.
-HUMILITY..when you're wrong, we appreciate immediate admittance of this and have the ability to improve.
Express Writers is a flourishing copywriting agency with over 50 writers. We are growing, growing, growing! We need someone available preferably LONG TERM, FULL TIME to answer the phone when it rings, and place bids on our Freelance account platforms. We already have a full time sales rep, you will work closely with our Sales Leader in the bid placement/tracking, but you will be our leading (and for now, sole) phone representative.
The ongoing pay would be $300/week BASE salary with bonuses added weekly based on output. (EXAMPLE: Determined by the sales you make during a warm lead call, for example, if you sold a client on 100 pages, your bonus could be up to 10% of that sale. Determined if you had a really busy week.)
Here is the overview of the position:
Position: Client Coordinator
I. Taking All Incoming Client Communications. This entails:
Answering the phone during normal business hours (9 am – 5 pm your time zone) and addressing all clients’ questions via phone.
Passing converted clients from phone communication to Sales Leader for additional invoicing and setup.
Being available ad hoc for all phone meetings, Skype meetings, or other voice communications required by clients
Returning voicemails left on non-normal business hours in 24 hours, excluding weekends
Following up with clients at their request, required during normal business hours
Calling warm, targeted, or inbound leads as directed by Employer/Staff (this will entail 1-2 hours a day) – this part will be set up near final period of training (we prefer you get comfortable with our direct client calls first)
Being knowledgeable and prepared for clients’ questions (studying any resources or training given thoroughly, asking Employer questions)
II. Assisting Sales Leader with Written Job Ads. This entails:
Taking template cover letters and fitting them to job ads; adding custom proposal bids and sending the ad response
Working on freelance platforms such as oDesk, Elance, PeoplePerHour, Freelancer and others to get 20-30 bids sent a day. At least 20 minimum sent a day (estimated 2 full hours).
If more than 10 calls come through in a day, amount of bids sent daily can be adjusted but we need communication via Skype daily to the Sales Leader by yourself to let the Sales Leader know how many you sent, to communicate on the job ads with any questions, and if you need a shorter day on these
Duties ad hoc:
-Being available to send work to clients from the Team Room when our Content Coordinator is out, usually after 3 PM (Coordinator will communicate with you on Skype about this).
***Any additional duties will be discussed and agreed on by Staff and Employer before they are added to the list. This is the typical list of what to expect for this position.
As a phone rep, you'll be our default representative and:
--pick up the phone when new clients call (1-6 calls/daily)
--call clients who have requested a call back (take directive from our Sales Leader)
--call clients to take their credit cards which we will bill - you must be reliable and have integrity!!! should go without saying.
We have a staff cell phone we will send you (Galaxy on T-Mobile) and cover the cell phone bill monthly. OR you can use your cell phone and we'll put $50 monthly towards your bill.
Compensation will start at $250 the first week of training and be $300 BASE.
