We are looking for a 3D designer to take rough sketches and turn them into very basic models.
At the moment we have 5 designs for very basic jewelry pieces, we simply need them transformed into 3D models that we can then take to a manufacturer for production.
We expect to receive all 5 3D models in one of the following formats: STL, Collada or X3D file. Each model should be relative to real-world scale, so the earrings need to be no larger than 1" and rings no larger than 2" and one additional sketch will be turned into a ~4" model. The models will need to be manifold and completely closed meshes for production. Upon the successful verification of these requirements we will pay the contractor in-full.
A timely response to this job posting will yield a pay bonus equating to no more than two full hours of work. Just because we're excited about this opportunity and want whoever works with us to benefit!
This is a very easy gig, and because of that we're willing to pay happily for the amount of time you invest. We are also interested in developing this relationship further, for future designs that we may need help transforming into 3D designs.
Some experience in 3D jewelry design would be ideal, though not required.
Thank you for your time.
