We are in need of some experienced website testers to give our website a thorough system test. We plan on having a public launch soon and need to locate and fix any remaining bugs.
We need 2 experienced quality assurance testers to do a full system test on our website to:
i. Identify what doesn't work
ii. Provide recommendations on what could be done to improve the user experience
Testers are expected to be self-directed, testing out features and capabilities and using their own extensive experience in software testing to document bugs as well as recommendation’s for improvements.
i. The expected level of effort is about 20-30 hours per tester
ii. At a minimum errors need to be documented
a. With screen shots,
b. An explanation of the error given, if any.
c. Date and time the error occurred.
d. A detailed description of how to reproduce the error,
iii. Develop appropriate recommendations on possible website improvements for improved usability.
We would expect that the applicants would be able to quickly familiarize themselves with the system without much guidance and contact us if there are at questions that need to be addressed part way through the process to ensure robust and thorough testing.
It is likely that there will be ongoing work for the right applicants if the first engagement is successful.
Please include a time frame for when you would be able to complete this testing along with a resume and any applicable qualifications. We would also like to see a brief proposal detailing your documentation standards and approach to testing. We do not have a public bug tracking system. Ideally you will provide a single report once testing has been completed.
The LIVE website address is: http://myreno411.ca. You will be working in a separate QA environment.
