I am looking to consult with an architect or building designer to bounce ideas off. The project is a small unit development & I am seeming design input into the facades of the dwellings. The project is to be contemporary & also needs to be designed with budget in mind. Initially I will require hand drawn sketches over printed facades. We can then model the project in Revit further once a design is settled upon.
Below is an overview of the project.
The west elevation facing the street & also unit 1 elevation facing the side street are the elevations I would like you to look at. All I am interested in is some rough sketches. If you have a printer print the two elevations out & do some rough sketches of some of the ideas that you have. I think this would only take me 2-3 hours.
-Keep Floor Plan layouts the same
-Work on window sizes, types, placement & proportions
-Wall heights or materials you can play around with if you like
-Contemporary but simplistic design
-Cost effective design to a budget
-Ground Floor walls to be Flat roof with Parapet or Tiled as shown
-Ground Floor walls brick veneer
-Upstairs walls rendered
-First Floor Roof is steel/colorbond coloured steel roofing
It is important to consider that these building are to a tight budget so I am looking at getting a quality/good finish to a budget for the developer.
Please send me your questions & discuss this with me when you can. At this stage no revit work is required but most likely there will be for this project in the next two weeks once I’ve settled on facade designs.
