Summary:
Create a VMWare virtualized machine to serve NFSv4 storage with ACL permissions running openLDAP authentication created from an existing LDAP repository on a Mac OSX 10.6 server.  Serve as an internal DNS server

Operating system: FreeBSD 9 or other widely supported open source Unix derivative.
Technologies/packages/services:
-openLDAP server
-NFSv4, v3 exports
-ZFS
-SSH
-SSL
-Samba
-DNS
-Raid 5/6
-VMWare tools

Consuming Operating systems:
-Linux(RedHat, CentOS)
-MacOSX 10.5 and greater
-Windows XP and later

Goal/Tasks:
-Replace an existing MacOSX 10.6 file and DNS server with an open source linux file and DNS server
-Server is to file serve a Sun 4TB SAN expansion array ZFS Raid 6 pool
-LDAP Administration GUI
-DNS Administration GUI
-create configuration/troubleshooting/usage and maintenance documentation
