I have an idea for a commercial but I only know in detail the first scene, and the last couple of scenes.
I know the overall theme of the project with what is connecting the scenes all together.
In order for the person creating the video, which has already agreed currently to do it, can fully understand, I must have the idea storyboarded.
here are some details:
I came up with an idea for a 1.5 - 2.0 commercial for Worldlink-Now.
One particular seen I found is not something I can do, because it would involve paying a lot of actors. However, i modified it, and with enough ideas it would string together well, if done well.
the concept: the spinning globe from the header of the Worldlink-Now website, is the main aspect that connects all scenes together.
If you know Tinkerbell from Peter Pan: she zips around in the air as a light, tries to cheer people up by flying around, and then zips (flies) to the next scene.
Similar: the globe isn't zipping, but it's moving forward as it spins like it does on the website. It has an "auro" of sorts that causes it's surrounding to be more radiant or more busy with people and traffic, depending on the scene. Buildings can grow into skyscrapers as the traffic increases once the globe passes them. The idea is to show prosperity as the globe links the world in all of it's businesses.
I'm skipping the details of some scenes.
Near the end, you see the globe coming from the upper left hand side of the video screen and flying towards the bottom right hand side in a slower manner, at night with a little aura. Maybe the ground is starting to show lights turning on from buildings, houses, etc (like you see in an airplane at night when it is about to land and you look out the window). At the same time, a female voice is narrating. on the bottom right hand side you can barely see somebody standing on a floating platform that is starting to rise.
As the globe gets closer, like Tinkerbell, it flies a little above her face she is smiling. it circles lower on the platform, which is still rising, from her right side to her left, as she is somewhat following the movements. she continues to narrate about Worldlink-Now. At some point in this scene she must be introduced with her name and title. she is the representative for Worldlink-Now. (No really, I'm not kidding :) she agreed to be already, and you can go to my Twitter account at WorldlinkNow. Some of the top lines show that I made an introduction for her without giving away who she is by name or pic)
the globe exits up to the right, as if it is turning around and going back towards the left into outer space.
Next scene: globe enters from upper left hand side as simultaneously the words in the same gold color as the website show up from the bottom right hand side. They are flat at first, like the entry of the Star Wars movies. Then for a brief moment they start to right themselves up and maybe have an effect like the words in the beginning of the original Superman movie from the 1980's, but looking modern. the words straighten up and the globe positions itself like the website. Underneath it says: www.worldlink-now.com
If I could think of something else to write after that (and it makes sense) I would.
the last scene is in outer space (where the globe and the logo meet up).
the first scene:
In Brooklyn Heights, there are areas where the buildings on either side of the street are reddish brown. No cars, people.
Imagine you standing in the middle of the street with the buildings, roughly the same short height on either side of you. You turn to your left and go on a rooftop of one of those buildings. The angle you see then is from you standing on the left, camera pointing to your right covering 100% of the street between the buildings and 100% of the top of the buildings that you can get in your camera.
imagine you are standing on that rooftop and look into the sky and to your left. From left to right is a globe (the same one that is spinning in the header of the website). It is flying from that direction, over and in between the rooftops, towards the street, and like a roller coaster will go up from the street, angle up (that is the far side of your picture) and fly back above the rooftops to the far right of your picture.
If you can see this, then there is another cut to the scene.
Just one more picture with you back on the street, in the middle portion of the picture you took. Whatever you determine is the middle of your picture. Go to the far right, back against the building. You are now looking at the street with the buildings on the opposite side for the backdrop. The picture should include 100% of the street and whatever you can get of the buildings in the background.
need to talk about full ideas with your own as well. I am the owner, don't listen to others.
