    Computer Programmer

Throughout the last decade of my life I have been most fascinated with computers from both a back end and front end perspective. I really have this drive to figure out why, how, and where different functionalities ranging from high level to low level layers, systems, and so forth complete there processes. This fascination ultimately helped me make a very wise decision with continuing my education further emphasizing my fascination, by enrolling in an undergraduate program for computer science. I am entering my final year of college and the summer is the time where I am most free and able to spend larger work hours on freelance projects. I will list a good variety of the applicable coursework I have completed thus far: CS 1430 - Programming in C++ CS 2230 - Programming in COBOL CS 2340 - Programming in VB.net. CS 2430 - Object Oriented Programming and Data Structures I (Java) CS 2630 - Object Oriented Programming and Data Structures II (Java/C++) CS 3230 - Computer Architecture and Operating Systems (Mostly Assembly, some concepts with java) CS 3830 - Data Communications and Computer Networking (Mostly java) CS 3840 - Computer Security and Cryptography (C/ C++/ java mostly with the ability to understand various scripting languages for text related examples). SE 2730 - Software Engineering (All SE related classes thus far have followed a structure of building onto the curriculum throughout the semester to achieve a finalized project within smaller groups. In SE 273, we re-created a game in Java) SE 3430 - Object Oriented Analysis and Design (Minimal implementation and actual coding, mostly documentation and structured documentation). My software based classes really helped me understand the difference between doing a project the correct way and doing a project incorrectly. With the curriculum I have already completed along with my out of class drive to learn on my own, I am well aware of how long it will truly take for myself or teams of various sizes given skill sets and the development process at hand to complete the task correctly. This includes proper documentation, including indexing of all aspects generally speaking from requirements engineering, analysis and elicitation, design, implementation, and testing phases along with a majority of all the pertinent reports, models, diagrams, flow charts, logs and test plans. I have first hand experience with how hard it might be to properly explain to someone what "your dream may be" as you need to allow them to make this dream come true based on their "understanding" of what they believe you would like. Regardless of their skills from this point on, you're dream is no longer the way you envisioned it. I strive to make absolutely sure that your dream stays the same, and not some warped version of someone elses take on a cookie cutter idea simply "tweaked" to meet your minimum requirements. Full customization and individuality comes with proper satisfaction and highly sought after deliverable from myself to you. I am knowledgeable in Database design/implementation/Management/administration, computer networking, Computer/Network Security, penetration testing, application/mobile application development, web development/programming. Web and Software development are my strengths in short.

Skilled Perl and Web Developer with Linux experience

United States - Last active: 1 month ago - Tests: 5

I've been programming professionally for more than ten years. In that time I've worked with C, Java, Pascal, C++, Common Lisp, Perl, PHP, and Python, and built web applications in both Perl and PHP on top of MySQL, Oracle, and PostgreSQL backends. I've also built servers from the ground up - my distro of choice is Ubuntu Server these days, but I've built Red Hat, Fedora, Debian, Gentoo, and even installed Linux from scratch once. Basically, if it needs doing, I can do it, and I'll do it better than anyone else you can find. If I can't, I won't take the job.

I usually spend my days on the front-end using tools like HTML5/CSS3/JavaScript/jQuery to build awesome web pages and applications for clients. On the back-end I always try to use the best tool for the job. That could be tech like Wordpress/PHP or Python/Django if the project needs something a little more customized. When I'm not in my text editor I'm probably creating mockups, logos or some type of print work in Photoshop or Illustrator. I get my hands involved in a bit of everything from simple landing pages to high-traffic mobile applications.

Coding is art only while it is well documented and understood properly. These simple concepts are my base. I have developed several high performance web applications. One of my best challenge was to build a add network which can serve huge traffic. i developed it with the help of my team members. I never afraid of taking challenges and i believe that the possibilities in web technologies is limitless.
