Have I Got A Voice For You

United States - Tests: 6 - Portfolio: 4

I've been doing voice-over work for over 30 years. I am presently employed at a video production company (www.sceniccable.com) where I create TV commercials. "Create" includes write, shoot, edit and voice the commercials. I also do radio commercials for the various radio stations in town. I have also done voice-overs for college on-line learning courses, read articles that are listened to on iPods, audio books, and radio liners. I also have written and recorded radio and TV commercial music beds and jingles. I started in radio when I was 16 and have worked either full-time or part-time for at least 10 radio stations. I was a voice-over artist for the USAF while I was enlisted, I created over 50 safety/training videos for Georgia-Pacific while in their employ from 1991 - 2001. I am currently writing lesson plans for an audio/video production high school class for American school children in India. I am also employed by a company in Sydney, Australia recording internet articles for use on an iPod or iPhone. The studio where I currently am employed has state-of-the-art recording equipment, editing software and file transfer programs. I am available any time and usually turn projects in less than 24 but never more than 48 hours. I guarantee my work and you WILL NOT PAY ME until you are 100% satisfied. I will always provide any samples you request of either my previous work - or a short reading of your project so you know exactly what "voice" you are hiring. I believe the wrong voice for a project can make or break it and it is very important to me you get the right voice for the job - even if that voice is not mine. Deliver professional voice-over projects in a fast, professional, and economic manner, and to be available to work any time the provider requires. Salary is always negotiable.

Writer/proofreader/copy editor

United States - Tests: 6 - Portfolio: 4

I’ve been working as a writer, proofreader, and copy editor for nearly a decade. I'm a stylistically adaptable writer, with particular specialties in travel and medical writing. I also have a great deal of experience with SEO (search engine optimization)—last year I was responsible for tripling traffic to one client’s website. Depending on your editing needs, I can help with simple proofreading—just making sure your spelling, punctuation, and basic grammar are sound—or I can do more comprehensive editing, clarifying ideas and improving the rhythm and flow of the writing itself. The extent of my involvement is, of course, entirely up to you, and I won't make changes that would compromise the writer's unique voice.
