Applications Dev - .Net - SQL - Graphic Design
Born at a very early age in Manchester, UK; he was skuled and growed up in Whyalla, South Australia. Semi-Retired to Boracay, Philippines in 2007
He enjoys writing data-driven applications leveraging Asp .Net membership and MS SQL Server.
His recent projects include akeanon.ph and neurotreatment.com.au
His first PC was an IBM XT running at 4.77 MHz, having 640 KB RAM and a whopping 20mb hard drive. He used to write flat file database applications using Microsoft Works, for DOS. He's upgraded since then.
He excelled with Microsoft Access database applications, front-end, back-end, multi-user environments, SQL, VBA and ADO. Eventually frustrated by the client-side limitations of MS Access he migrated to SQL Server, first via Active Data Projects (ADP) then classic Active Server Pages (ASP).
Transitioning to ASP .Net was inevitable for Alan and he has since assisted many companies in their transition from flat file databases to the real world of scalable data-driven applications on the world wide web.
