    Armenia - Tests: 7 - Portfolio: 4

I would describe myself as software engineer with 8+ years of experience in developing web applications. As engineer I started my career on 2007 by developing websites www.be2.com /de /co.uk/nl/dk/br/… for german company be2 as part of their development team located in Yerevan, Armenia. During 4+ years of work on that project which is providing matchmaking service to millions worldwide, I got good experience of using many java technologies including Spring Framework, Apache Tomcat, EJB/JMS running on JBoss server, Apache MyFaces (JSF) using XML based Facelets or JSP for view, JPA/Hibernate, testing frameworks like JUnit, Mockito, EasyMock, PowerMock and Selenium, Apache Ant, MySQL using master/slave replication mode with multiple nodes to support big amount of data. On 2011 I joined local development team of US company called AtTask, now known as Workfront (www.workfront.com), which is providing convenient way to manage projects for many known companies. During 2+ years of work I improved my knowledge of java technologies and also got additional skills like javascript frameworks JQuery, MooTools, additionally got familiar with standards CSS3/HTML5. On 2013 I started my freelance career with goal to get more experience of using modern javascript UI frameworks like AngularJS/Backbone.js, NoSQL - key-value storages as MongoDB, Redis, Node.js and everything that is related to it, creating responsive website layout with Twitter Bootstrap. As a result I have few Node.js contributions shared at github.com/gevorg and also few small web applications hosted on Heroku platform like app.boxitup.com, app.gocicero.us that are mostly using single page application architecture running on Node.js, Express.js, AngularJS, MongoDB, Twitter Bootstrap.

  4. Joaquín Tumas

    Joaquín Tumas

    Expert AngularJS/FrontEnd Developer

    Argentina - Tests: 7 - Portfolio: 1

[ My complete profile can be found on stack overflow careers: http://careers.stackoverflow.com/jtumas ] Hey! I'm an ultra cool ninja master guru god of AngularJS, as I've been working with it for almost almost 1,5 years and before that I was getting job done on backboneJS. More sincerely: I'm a fairly good developer that likes javascript because of its functional, decently modern and it's-fucking-everywhere nature. I did a ton of Yôga, some Aikido, and I also have a cool beard, so perhaps some day I can recall that title. About my working experience: I discovered Angular and fell into its arms pretty fast, I hold (and I think I'm not alone on this) that it's the most efficient way to get big and not so big webapps done today, by balancing its inherent architecture enforcement, TDD focus, good ideas (fake web components FTW) and a passionated community that keeps making awesome plugins and researching for more productive work patterns. Short sentences attempting to describe me I love to make a badass few liners that condenses a huge amount of logic (perhaps some magic with regexps or underscore/lodash mapreducing something), checking it works, and then exploding them in 10 or 15 lines with a couple of comments where they may belong. The code should explain itself without needing to check the comments. Nevertheless a variable that will be defined, used and discarded immediatly may well be called with 1 letter. If you can't justify why you are doing things some way, you are probably doing it wrong. English is not my main language and I may or may not proudly speak with an Slavoj Zizek like diction. PD: we Argentinians (and Uruguayans and some Brazilians) have a herbal beverage that punches coffee in the face as natural energy drink, it's called "mate" (pronounces like 'latte' but with an starting m)
