I also occasionally take on academic work. I'm not afraid to uncap that red pen and honestly evaluate myself.
*One small note: I generally prefer to work on a fixed-budget basis. I work across multiple platforms and am constantly on the go, and the oDesk monitoring application limits my work ability. I am always open to discussing your personal needs and coming up with a price schedule that fits the both of us.
