Hello, I have extensive experience developing well designed web sites and web applications. I focus on creating user interfaces that are simple, clean, and effective. Whether you need me to jump on an existing project or start fresh, I can likely help solve your development needs. My team and I are experts with Ruby on Rails, iOS & Android development, Scala, Angular.js, and Backbone.js. I'm a strong believer in "thinking" about the larger scope of your project and how all the pieces fit together. I will not simply program every feature you ask me to before questioning whether it is the best way to achieve a certain task. I do this because it ensures high quality control, both on a business and technical level. My goal is not to get as much money out of you as possible, I take pride in my work and want to build you the best product I can. Work is available upon request! I have a strict no B.S. policy and believe communication is key. My main priority is to help your company grow and make money.

    Ruby on Rails Programmer

Russia - Last active: 10 days ago - Tests: 2

I'm a software developer with 4 years experience in various programming languages and frameworks like Java, .NET/C#, Python, some obscure stuff like TCL and other technologies. About 2 years ago I switched to Ruby on Rails for its focus on fast development, programmer-friendliness and its great community. I think good communication and honesty are essential for a successful project. I'll always let my client know if I have any difficulties and I'll never take an assignment I'm not 100% qualified for. I'm trying to write tests first whenever possible, I think it allows to improve the code quality, avoid errors, and often leads to a better design decisions. I'm experienced with Linux and other Unix-like systems and prefer to set up servers myself instead of using services like Heroku since it's a more flexible approach and it allows me to choose any software that is useful for the project. I can setup Heroku servers as well if it's required. Previously I've mostly worked on the back-end side of the projects that involve processing of big amounts of data, using both relational and No-SQL stores. Though I had a few projects where I had to work on the front-end as well, including building a mobile website/app entirely in Javascript.

Sorry! :)
