1. Create Company File
Input company information-For example company name, address, contact person, email address, website, organization and industry type, telephone and fax#, registration#, logo, first month of fiscal year etc.
2. Add, edit and delete accounts from your Chart of Accounts-For example add or edit your income, expenses, assets and liabilities accounts-Setup your
main income, cost of goods sold and bank and credit card accounts.
3. Setup your Sales Tax or VAT.
4. Add your products and services items-You track products but you don’t track services. You can import your products items into QB by using the
import function or manually add the product items.
5. Customize your forms or templates-For example invoice, credit memo, sales forms, purchase forms, quotes or estimates etc.
6. Add customer and vendor Lists-You can import your customer and vendor lists into QB using the import function or manually add the customers and vendors.
7. Journalize the opening balances using the journal form or template.
