Native English / Language Specialist / Proofreader / Editor
"Quality is remembered long after the price is forgotten" – Gucci Family Motto.
Although my translation abilities include Dutch, Afrikaans, Germanic, French and Welsh language pairs, these are not principally promoted as my primary function and objective is to transform formal and academic English into a globally understandable, readable, taut, grammatically correct, and acceptable style of English while maintaining an understanding of the need and place for using of localized vernacular. Make your literary task easier by taking advantage of the skills of a TRUE Native English specialist (born, bred, and educated in the homeland of the English language – perhaps the reason it is called English because it was invented (developed) in England), who has spent a lifetime developing, cultivating and updating his literary competence in many far-flung parts of globe becoming familiar with the language in all its flavours (including US, UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, East Africa, and points between) and developing skills in editing and proofreading (Chicago / Oxford / MLA / APA 5 / APA 6 / AMS / IEEE / Harvard / Vancouver / Elsevier styles, and plain, old-fashioned Queens English, among others). Corrected output can be returned in MS Word format (with "track changes", sidebar comments and advice) for all changes, or in Latex typeset format with native raw code and PDF output depending on the client's choice. All house style requirements are strictly adhered to in either case. Citing and language are in accordance with accepted modern style standards.
My core competence lies in taking a literary product or service then polishing until it shines so you can see your reflection, and these services are offered to help clients effectively and efficiently produce an ideal "final product". I am currently seeking opportunities where my high competence in written / spoken English (all varieties), multifaceted business skills, and extensive experience with current communication facilities could be used for mutual benefit.
"It is the quality of our work which will please God and not the quantity" – Mohandas Gandhi.
