I love music, making music, and making music sound great. Stage educated, road tested, and studio polished. Thousands of hours, hundreds of bands, scores of albums, several awards. I especially enjoy working with artists who want to understand the craft. Dialing in a mix is an esoteric and subtle art, but very intuitive and only moderately technical to the self-aware artist. There are secondary benefits in songwriting and composition, demoing and tracking - understanding how sounds fit together changes the way you work. Further, mastering is a largely study of previous commercially successful material - a superb addition to any professional musician's understanding of the industry. Thus, my most popular (online) service is "mastering with mix consulting". I "walk" the artist through the process, from early test mixes to final masters, teaching along the way. Clients learn by receiving detailed written recommendations (with explanations and examples, and phone/video are available) that they can implement themselves in whatever software they prefer. This hands-on experience is priceless, IMO. I provide reference masters as we go so you can hear how your choices are enhanced/exacerbated by the mastering process. The job is not done until the client is *fully* satisfied, and I offer "infinite revisions" - new mixes and/or masters can be requested at any time, forever, for free.
