My family and I have just moved to Utah in hopes of finding the jobs we were unable to find in California after both my fiance and I were laid off last year. My fiance is looking for full time work so that I may focus on my pursuit to eventually build a home based business in web design.
As I develop my skills in web design, I would like to use the skills I already possess from working in a corporate office environment for 15 years, to do independent contract work as a supplemental to main source of income.
The main body of my 15 year work history consists of data entry as the full cycle Accounts Payable clerk for an Aerospace company in Canoga Park, California. The position involved HEAVY data entry for not only the Accounting department, but the Billing and Shipping department as well. I was the person responsible for entering all the government contracts into the DFAS (Department Finance and Accounting Services) WAWF (Wide Area Work Flow)system for the company. This was required before any shipments could be inspected and shipped to various government branches and military bases. I have also had experience in customer service (over the phone, online, and in person).
I am a very meticulous, organized, and conscientious worker. I have a quiet work area setup in my home and an unused land-line available for dedicated use. I am trainable, efficient, and eager to work. I am also very responsible and highly motivated to provide for my family and to maintain a level of excellence in the quality of any work I do.
