    I love music, making music, and making music sound great. Stage educated, road tested, and studio polished. Thousands of hours, hundreds of bands, scores of albums, several awards. I especially enjoy working with artists who want to understand the craft. Dialing in a mix is an esoteric and subtle art, but very intuitive and only moderately technical to the self-aware artist. There are secondary benefits in songwriting and composition, demoing and tracking - understanding how sounds fit together changes the way you work. Further, mastering is a largely study of previous commercially successful material - a superb addition to any professional musician's understanding of the industry. Thus, my most popular (online) service is "mastering with mix consulting". I "walk" the artist through the process, from early test mixes to final masters, teaching along the way. Clients learn by receiving detailed written recommendations (with explanations and examples, and phone/video are available) that they can implement themselves in whatever software they prefer. This hands-on experience is priceless, IMO. I provide reference masters as we go so you can hear how your choices are enhanced/exacerbated by the mastering process. The job is not done until the client is *fully* satisfied, and I offer "infinite revisions" - new mixes and/or masters can be requested at any time, forever, for free. Guaranteed satisfaction, period. Or I can do it myself, of course. Less fun... but fast as a 10-minute soundcheck. Very fast and very pro. Related services include restoration, enhancement and repair of any audio, music or otherwise, and consulting for same. I am also a pretty good songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. Examples provided upon request. I became an engineer because I *am* a musician, first. In addition to ghost and co-writing, I've delivered intelligently played and programmed overdubs on quite a few instruments, written jingles and radio spots, licensed a ton of instrumentals for network television, designed/installed/tuned/repaired custom audio (and lighting) rigs for nightclubs and concert halls, and founded several new/streaming media companies. But I call myself a mix/mastering engineer because that's my favorite job, by a mile. There is no job satisfaction I've ever enjoyed more than a band that is *truly* happy with their album. It's real love, the real thing - like a proud parent at a kid's graduation. There's nothing quite like it.
