    When I was 11, my parents showed me how to use Excel to track my trading card collection. Today, I'm a spreadsheet ninja. I know pivot tables like the back of my hand, I can script you out a macro in a matter of hours, and I can nest functions together in ways you've never thought possible. Big words, sure, but I back it up. I have built reports, ad hoc and repetitive, that have gone as high as the board of directors of Fortune 500 corporations. My VBA-enabled smart forms are used by front-line operations personnel, and are robust enough to handle transactions from any end user. I also have many years of experience developing business procedures and workflows. I can map out a workflow and easily identify where efforts are being duplicated or wasted. My expertise in automation has helped large companies reduce their staffing costs while reducing manual error rates and increasing overall productivity. As a business person who "speaks tech", I make a fantastic liaison between end-users and developers, thereby reducing complications during the business application development process, and making sure that the product you need is what is actually delivered. I also know a thing or three about coding and web design. Self-taught mostly; I took the intro to Comp Sci courses in college, but I picked up most of my chops modding video games and automating repetitive tasks at work. I've also taken a few Codecademy courses to round out my knowledge base. I've never spent too long in any specific language, so I actually think I have a better understanding of how computer science works than a dedicated coder who stays in one language all day does. In essence, a lot more breadth than depth. Languages I know today and are comfortable taking on work for include C/C++/C#, Java, Python, HTML, CSS, and PHP.
