Customer Service Contractor with Medical and Transcription Background
Over the past 2 years, I have gained a range of skills and experience related to Customer Service and Medical Transcription, as well as familiarity with other office-based skills due to my past work as a CSR agent and a School Nurse.
I am well-versed with Microsoft Office, primarily with MS Word and Powerpoint. Aside from these, I am also internet-savvy and have had numerous experience in doing both personal and business transactions online, so any project that could use said familiarity would be welcomed.
I am a perfectionist at heart and would not accept a project offer unless I know I can complete it and do it well, timing and ability taken into full consideration.
I am open to any contractual work within my scope of abilities but have to admit that my core competency lies in Customer Service, and am thus seeking opportunities with any related work, specifically with chat, e-mail, and other non-voice customer support.
My prior CSR experience was for a call/voice-based account, and I would welcome any similar job offers if available, and the requirements set by the employer are within my capabilities.
I have had no prior home-based work experience before, but I am familiar with the concept of outsourcing, I learn fast, know how to multi-task, and take initiative when needed even without prompting (although I would require guidelines so that I would know what not to do, as well as product knowledge materials if I am assigned to an account which would require said knowledge).
Currently, I am looking for a part-time job to fit my weekends, preferably following eastern standard time in the U.S., in addition to my current full-time employment.
