I'm thinking and playing with computers since I can remember. I’ve got my first computer when I was 12 years old. Luckily, this wasn’t a good computer this fact drove me through the programming world, because I spent my of my time coding small solutions just to have fun. Since them, I knew that I wanted to be a programmer for life. I took my first programming class when I was 14, finished my first college-level course with 16. In my last year in high school, I found a job to work building PDV software in a local company, but I resigned because I was dreaming about university. I started a Computer Science major in 2010, which opened my way to work in many fun projects. I helped to plan and build an online platform to connect hundreds of students and professors in order to help them to get founding for their projects. I also worked with investments, mobile apps, and many other small web applications. Until 2012 when I earned a scholarship to study abroad. In December 2012, I landed in Canada and had amazing 16 months, which I could study Computer Science at the University of Calgary, work as a summer student building new solutions for an Oil and Gas company, and I also had a blast connecting with people. I can tell from my past experiences that my greatest skill nowadays is to adapt and learn from new environments in order to solve any kind of problems. If you have a problem and you need help we can have a talk, I would love to help.

    Highly experienced developer

    United Kingdom - Last active: 08/20/2014 - Tests: 1

I have been a freelance developed for several years now and have previously worked for large multinational corporations on varied and complex projects. I am highly accomplished in several languages, mark-ups and methodologies, including C++, PHP, Java, JavaScript, XML, JSON, REST and a lot more. I am very competent Linux/UNIX administrator with over 15 years of experience designing, administering and supporting physical and virtual servers in both private and public clouds. I am also extremely competent in (X)HTML, CSS, progressive enhancement JavaScript with graceful degradation to create visually appealing and universally functioning accessible online interfaces. Networking I know; creating heterozygous and happy network families with Linux and Windows clients. I like Cisco equipment and I use lots of it. I like my work to be perfect. I never understand why some developers don't seem to bother testing their code. All my work compiles or executes in strict standards mode without errors and warnings. I like virtualisation and containerisation. Amazon Web Services is my playground. I speak native SQL and have experience with MySQL/MariaDB, Oracle, PostgreSQL, SQLite and a lot more. I've memorised every configuration option in Apache and know how to squeeze every ounce of efficiency out of it. I use vi because it's a lot better than emacs. I'm a black-belt in data jujitsu, I can import, slice and dice, normalise, crunch and spit out any type of information given to me. I've contributed patches to all components of the LAMP stack and I know them all inside-out and backwards. I have a passion for creating clear, concise, open and standards-compliant work that is liberal in its input and conservative in its output. I love compatibility. In my work, security is a critical design requirement not an after-thought. I also like to document things. A lot. I'm happy to work on extended projects for you but I'm the guy you really need if you have a weird or complex issue that needs fixing quickly but nobody understands it or can't seem to fix it. My in-depth experience of every level of your solution stack will let me quickly get in there and pull it apart to discover and resolve what's wrong. Also if you have what seems like an impossibly complex problem or need something highly custom achieving quickly, please do talk to me. I'm good at finding innovative ideas to unique challenges that will deliver quick and consistent results for you. I look forward to hearing from you; thanks kindly for reading.
