I am a commercially focused, Attorney-at-law, equipped with a combination of formal qualifications and vital transferable skills. I seek to obtain a position that will present a diverse range of interests and opportunities in the dynamic field of Human Resource Management coupled with Employment Law/Industrial Relations. Building on the experience and knowledge I have gained thus far will allow me to prove myself as a valuable asset to any organisation while further developing integral skills specific to this field.
Having hands-on experience in the Industrial Court and with Employment Tribunals for private matters has crystallised my interest in the field of Human Resource Management and Employment Law.
At a young age I had an interest in such fields which led to my acquiring a certificate in Human Resource Management and then furthering my studies with a degree in Law. At my post graduate studies I specialised in Employment law which affords me in-depth knowledge and understanding of HR and IR issues.
I am adept in all aspect of research in the area of Employment Law which, as you are aware, is closely affiliated with Human Resource Management/Employee & Industrial Relations. This skill having been derived from my involvement and instructing on several employment matters in Court. I am also experienced, inter alia, in drafting of employment contracts, employee handbooks and familiar with grievance and disciplinary procedures as well as our local labor laws. I am also experienced in the drafting of Safety Policies and the implementing of such as I have worked in detail on matters pertaining to Occupational Health & Safety (OSHA).
Please allow me to highlight that my skills and knowledge is in no way confined to the legal profession. Throughout my professional and academic career I have gained experience in issues of contract, marketing, customer services, human resource management, foreign procurement, accounting processes and many normal operational functions that you may expect in any enterprise business. As such I view myself as an extremely multi-faceted individual with a wide scope of professional skills.
